Saiyuen, which located on Cheung Chau's southwest tip, is a ideal location to observe a variety of astronomical phenomena because of its isolated location and extremely minimal light pollution. Milky Way can be seen best during the summer. Saiyuen will turn off any unnecessary lighting on days with the best viewing conditions to improve visibility.
