Saiyuen is a prime spot for stargazing: located on the southwestern tip of Cheung Chau, we are far from city light and  surrounded by hills and water.

Summer is the best season to view the Milky Way, and whether you're photographing the night sky or simply stargazing, Saiyuen is the ideal location.

To help you maxmize the experience, we will show a video from our Milky Way Photography Workshop to guide your viewing and photography of this magnificent galaxy!

【Roots & Rods Family Day Camp】Bring your family to Saiyuen for a feast of nature! This experience introduces you to Hong Kong's largest outdoor aquaponics pond and our Mandala Farm. Pick your produce, then prepare a farm-to-table meal together!

【Surviving with Parents】

During this event, our instructors will guide all participants to explore and appreciate nature. Children will pretend to be castaways on a deserted island and, with parental assistance, learn more outdoor survival skills. They will engage in STEM experiments that can only be conducted in the wilderness.
