During the Bun Festival, many residents of Cheung Chau Island observe a vegetarian diet. In response to this, Saiyuen has launched a special event to promote a healthy vegetarian lifestyle. New event "Farm-to-Table: Veggie Wild Cooking" experience. Participants will have the opportunity to gather ingredients from our farm and use them to handcraft vegetarian pizzas in a traditional oven. You can also enjoy a refreshing Citron Special Drink, accompanied by popcorn as a snack. Join us with your family, friends, or loved ones for an exciting "Farm-to-Table" experience!

When foreign architect Daniel Nahmias resided on Cheung Chau, he designed and created the traditional clay oven at Saiyuen using the park's own soil as a material. This masterpiece, resembling a work of art, is now available for you to use and bake your handmade vegetarian pizza

Fun Bun Tower - Limited Time Only

 

The annual Cheung Chau Bun Festival is here again! In the past, it was affected by the pandemic and had to be canceled. However, starting from last year, it is finally able to be held as usua. To celebrate this grand event in Cheung Chau, don't miss the limited-time opportunity to climb the Fun Bun Tower at Saiyuen!

 

Simply visit Saiyuen and under the guidance of instructors, you can experience the thrill of climbing the 12-meter-high "Fun Bun Tower" and showcase your skills. Participants of the event can also enjoy a 50% discount on the Fun Bun Tower, priced at $90 (advanced reservation required, on-site registration will be charged at the regular price of $180). $320 for 2 people (1 parent + 1 child)  | Additional participants: $80 per person (free for children aged 3 or below)

*The maximum group size is 4 people, and each group will receive one set of activity materials.

*One set of activity materials can make one 9-inch pizza, a bowl of popcorn, and 3–4 cups of beverage.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Relevant accommodation information must be provided; otherwise, the price difference must be paid.
  • Saiyuen reserves the right to cancel any applications if there are insufficient registrations two weeks prior to the event, and the registration fees will be refunded to the applicants.
  • The activities will be conducted in Cantonese.
  • Once the registration is confirmed, there will be no refunds for withdrawal or absence from the event. Exceptions may be made in special circumstances, subject to the final decision of the center.
  • In the event of a Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 or Amber Rainstorm Warning in effect, all activities will proceed as scheduled. If the weather conditions are unstable, outdoor activities will be moved to covered area.
  • If the Hong Kong Observatory issues a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning, Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above, or announces the imminent issuance of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above, all activities will be canceled.
  • The activity schedule is for reference only. In the event of weather changes, Saiyuen will adjust the activities to ensure the safety and experience of the participants and instructors.
  • Participants must follow the instructions of the instructors, training camp rules, and campsite regulations. Any violation or inappropriate behavior may result in the termination of their participation by the instructor to ensure the experience of other participants.
  • Participants are advised to take personal mosquito prevention measures as the campsite is located in a rural area, which is conducive to insect growth.
  • The content and timing of the activities are subject to change without prior notice due to on-site circumstances.
  • Saiyuen reserves the right to interpret the above terms and conditions.
