Saiyuen Kid's Fun Run Fest 2025 Event Information & Arrangements

Thank you for joining the “Saiyuen Kid's Fun Run Fest 2025” on November 29!
Please read the following information carefully to help you plan the perfect family trip to Cheung Chau! 

 

 

01|Check-in Procedure 

 

1. You may check in at the Saiyuen entrance from 11:00 am onwards and collect your event wristband and race pack.

 

2. Please check your race pack immediately — it should include:

race bib, 2) safety pins, 3) game stamp card, and 4) lunch coupon (if applicable).

 

3. Guests who have reserved tents for accommodation, please proceed to the front desk for check-in.

 

4. Once all the above steps are completed, you’re all set to start having fun!

 

02|Lunch Box Arrangement 

Participants who have pre-ordered lunch boxes can collect their selected lunch at the BBQ area between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm on the event day by presenting the lunch coupon. 

 

03|Game Booth Arrangement

 

Most game booths will remain open throughout the day, except during staff lunch rotations. However, please note that the following special activities are only available during the designated time slots:

 

Tree Top Canopy Walk

Sessions: (A) 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm; (B) 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Fee: Adults (11+) – $210 / Children aged 8–10 – $150
Please register and make payment at the Enquiry Counter on the Lawn at least 30 minutes before your chosen session. Limited quota—first come, first served.

 

Fun Bun Tower Climbing

Sessions: (A) 11:00 am – 12:30 pm; (B) 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm; (C) 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm
Fee: $60

 

Model Boats (Remote-Controlled Boat)

Sessions: (A) 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm; (B) 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Fee: Free

 

Please keep your Game Stamp Card properly to redeem prizes.
You may attempt each booth unlimited times, but prizes will only be given once per participant.

 

 

04|Age Group Race Schedule

The Grassland Cross-country Race is one of the key events of the day. Participants can plan their game booth visits and lunch time according to their registered race times and age group! 

 

 

05|The next day: “Survival Adventure with parents"

 

Must-try recommendation! On the day after the Fun & Play Sports Day (Sunday, November 30), we’ll be hosting the highly popular 2-hour family activity “Survival Adventure with parents”!


Only a few spots remain — sign up now and join your kids in the world of survival for a fun-filled and educational adventure! 

 

*The activity will be conducted in Cantonese

Includes 1 adult + 1 child aged 4 or above
Additional participant: + $80 each (same price for adults and children)

Maximum 4 participants per group. Each group will receive one set of activity materials.

 

“Survival with Parents” includes a series of fun and engaging activities such as:

  • Making basic outdoor tools

  • Starting a fire outdoors using different methods

  • Building a simple water filter

  • DIY outdoor snacks

07|How to get to Saiyuen?

TRANSPORTATION

Cheung Chau can be accessed by ferries from the Central Pier No.5 (Journey time: Ordinary ferry: 55-60 minutes / Fast ferry: 35-40 minutes).

 
Directions from the Cheung Chau piers to Saiyuen:

 

On Foot

Make a right turn towards the Municipal Services Building, walk along the coastal Sai Tai Road (approx. 20 minutes) to Tsan Tuen Road, then walk up the hill until you reach the red entrance gate at Peak Road.

 

Bicycle

Saiyuen provides bicycle parking for  free. Space is limited; tricycles and canopied surries are not permitted. Bicycle rental shops can be found along the way to Saiyuen.

 

Kaito

To take the Kaito boat to the western (Sai Wan) pier, upon disembarking from the ferry, look for an inland pier with white canopy roof on the right side of Cheung Chau Pier and ask for Kaito service to Sai Wan. Kaito boats drop off at Sai Wan pier. Turn left onto Tsan Tuen Road and walk up the hill until you reach the red entrance gate at Peak Road.
